This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with cardiologists, endocrinologists, healthcare professionals, and stakeholders to disseminate clinical and scientific information aimed at enhancing the treatment landscape in alignment with strategic goals.
• Provide education on RNAi technology, hypertriglyceridemia, familial chylomicronemia syndrome, and hypercholesterolemia.
• Collect and convey clinical and scientific insights to internal stakeholders.
• Participate in and present at scientific congresses and meetings to keep abreast of the latest advancements and trends in the cardiometabolic therapeutic field.
• Address unsolicited inquiries in accordance with MSL compliance standards.
• Assist in company-sponsored clinical trials by engaging with investigator sites.
• Facilitate speaker training as needed, ensuring that speakers are informed about the latest disease and product information.
• Support national, regional, and local scientific congresses, which includes engaging with Opinion Leaders (OL), covering sessions, managing booths, and conducting company debriefs.
• Monitor and assess scientific publications, clinical trials, and the competitive landscape within the cardiometabolic therapeutic area.
• Maintain clinical and scientific expertise along with general industry knowledge.
• Promote the MSL value proposition by demonstrating professionalism and achieving results.
• Adhere to company policies.
• Create territory-specific OL and account plans that include OL profiles, pre-call planning, and follow-up strategies.
• Convey clinical and scientific information clearly and accurately.
• Document both quantitative and qualitative achievements as an MSL.
• Provide scientific support for Medical Information inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate responses to healthcare professionals' questions.
• Develop scientific content for medical education initiatives.
• Assist Medical Affairs with special projects and initiatives as necessary.
• Effective management of sophisticated cross-functional relationships is essential for success.
• A PhD, PharmD, MD, or DO degree is required.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience as an MSL.
• Experience in cardiometabolic therapeutics.
• Background in Medical Affairs within a biotech or pharmaceutical company.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a dynamic environment.
• Strong understanding of the cardiometabolic therapeutic area.
• Capability to interpret key scientific data and translate findings to address educational and research needs that influence corporate research strategies.
• Skill in identifying unmet medical, educational, and research needs within the local and regional medical community.
• Knowledge of the healthcare delivery system, including managed care, and its effects on patient care, regional medical practices, and the pharmaceutical industry.
• Understanding of the design and execution of research studies and their strategic implications.
• Proven ability to achieve high-quality results as a strategic and creative thinker.
• Demonstrated capability to navigate ambiguity and succeed in a constantly evolving environment.
• Strong project management skills with a track record of successfully managing projects and colleagues in critical business implementations.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel.
