This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver daily leadership, guidance, and support to Inside Sales Representatives.
• Mentor and coach team members to enhance sales effectiveness, product knowledge, customer interaction, and professional growth.
• Assess individual and team performance against set sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Facilitate regular performance evaluations and offer constructive feedback and development plans.
• Aid in the onboarding, training, and ongoing development of both new and existing team members.
• Cultivate a collaborative, customer-centric, and results-driven team atmosphere.
• Assist in the implementation of regional sales strategies to meet revenue, market share, and customer retention objectives.
• Contribute to prospecting efforts, lead generation, and pipeline management within designated territories.
• Monitor sales activities, follow up on quotations, engage with customers, and track opportunity progression.
• Collaborate closely with Inside Sales Representatives to identify and target high-priority accounts.
• Provide support for customer escalations and complex sales scenarios as necessary.
• Analyze sales trends and propose strategies to enhance performance and boost market penetration.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Rittal's product offerings, applications, markets, and distribution channels.
• Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction through prompt communication, responsiveness, and effective problem resolution.
• Work in conjunction with Outside Sales Representatives, Manufacturer Representatives, Distributors, and Internal Departments to optimize customer support and sales efficacy.
• Assist with customer visits, trade shows, and sales events as needed.
• Act as a role model in nurturing strong customer relationships and providing outstanding service.
• Review sales reports, metrics, and performance dashboards to evaluate business outcomes.
• Relay sales opportunities, market trends, competitive insights, and customer feedback to management.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and sales protocols.
• Identify avenues for process enhancements and increased team productivity.
• Support management with workforce planning, scheduling, and resource distribution.
• Execute other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
• A minimum of 5 years of sales experience, ideally in industrial, manufacturing, technical, or B2B sales settings.
• A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered.
• Prior experience in team leadership, employee mentoring, or a lead role is preferred.
• Experience collaborating with distributors, manufacturer representatives, and field sales teams is highly desirable.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team development capabilities.
• In-depth understanding of consultative sales methodologies and customer relationship management.
• Technical proficiency with the ability to grasp industrial products and applications.
• Exceptional verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Effective organizational, time management, and prioritization abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM software.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of excelling in a remote work environment.
• Ability to influence and collaborate across various functions and organizational levels.
• Flexible remote/home office work environment.
• Travel up to 25% for customer visits, trade shows, training, and team meetings.
• Regular engagement with customers, distributors, field sales teams, and internal departments.
