This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Take on the operational leadership of the global Accounts Receivable team, ensuring effective and high-quality accounts receivable operations.
• Oversee comprehensive receivables management for various international entities.
• Act as the primary contact for internal departments and customers to address billing and payment inquiries.
• Evaluate receivables portfolios, minimize outstanding balances, and enhance payment behaviors.
• Create processes, policies, and controls, including automation and optimizations within ERP systems.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing through detailed account reconciliations and intercompany expertise.
• Ensure adherence to corporate requirements and regulatory standards in partnership with both internal and external stakeholders.
• A degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance, preferably with a focus on Accounting.
• Several years of experience in international accounts receivable, including a minimum of two years in a leadership capacity.
• Strong knowledge in receivables management, revenue recognition, and accounting and tax regulations.
• Proficient in using ERP and subscription billing software (experience with SAP Business ByDesign, Zuora, or Chargebee is a plus).
• Possess an analytical mindset, structured work habits, and excellent numerical abilities.
• Superior proficiency in both German and English languages.
