This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +1 more state.
• Lead and execute complex, multi-sector MEP and critical infrastructure projects from initiation to completion, ensuring that project objectives, timelines, and budgets are achieved.
• Act as the primary senior-level contact for clients, stakeholders, and internal teams throughout the entire project lifecycle.
• Guide all participants through the design, implementation, and approval phases.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project budgets and master schedules based on market insights and specific client requirements.
• Supervise due diligence, documentation, contract/vendor selection, and performance management to ensure adherence to all JLL, client, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate extensively with engineers, architects, property managers, vendors, and client leadership to integrate new MEP systems into existing building infrastructures.
• Proactively identify, manage, and escalate risk factors (such as liability, reputation, and compliance) to senior management while ensuring all contractual obligations are fulfilled.
• Facilitate and lead project meetings (both internal and with clients and vendors).
• Review plans, resolve design and technical challenges, and oversee onsite activities.
• Manage project timelines, budget monitoring, change orders, and necessary approvals.
• Address immediate project risks or escalations as they arise.
• Communicate project progress, issues, and solutions to clients and management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline is required.
• A minimum of 8-10 years of project management experience, with at least 5 years overseeing MEP-intensive and/or mission-critical projects, including prior direct management experience.
• Proven experience in supervising/mentoring multiple project managers and managing all phases of projects (from inception to closeout).
• Experience working with institutional, corporate, and mission-critical facility clients.
• A strong history of excellence in client relationship management and successful delivery of complex projects.
• In-depth understanding of JLL’s service standards, business ethics, and commitment to diversity, inclusion, and wellness.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or a similar relevant certification is preferred.
• An advanced degree (MBA, MS, or equivalent) in engineering or management is preferred.
• Project management and safety certifications (e.g., PMP, OSHA) are preferred.
• Experience leading national teams and utilizing cross-disciplinary teams is preferred.
