Project Manager, Fintech

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the planning and implementation of the strategic project portfolio, transforming operations into a product-focused, scalable, and innovation-driven model in line with our digital transformation goals.

• Direct the detailed timeline for securing essential financial and technical certifications (including PCI DSS, SOC 2, ISO 27001, EMVCo, FCC, UL, and others).

• Manage projects with a product lifecycle approach, emphasizing scalability and ongoing business value.

• Lead cross-functional teams in Development, Architecture, and Operations, collaborating with external auditors to ensure timely delivery of controls, technical documentation, and evidence.

• Ensure compliance with milestones for the certification and approval of payment terminals (such as PAX, Ingenico, etc.) with networks and organizations like EMVCo, Visa, and Mastercard.

• Monitor gap analyses (Gap Analysis) and initiate immediate mitigation strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Telecommunications, Technology Management, or a related discipline, with a focus on Project Management.

• Certifications in Agile or project management methodologies (such as PMP, Scrum Master, PRINCE2).

• At least 5 years of experience leading technology or regulatory compliance projects in the Fintech sector, acquiring/merchant acquiring, or banking/vertical software development.

• Extensive experience in product management and technology platforms.

• Demonstrated experience coordinating international projects involving multiple stakeholders and interdisciplinary teams.

• Preferred: Prior experience managing projects related to POS terminals or payment ecosystems.

• General knowledge of regulatory frameworks (including PCI DSS, SOC 2, ISO 27001, EMVCo, and privacy) for effective technical communication.

• Advanced English proficiency (C1 / Native), crucial for fluent verbal and written communication with international teams and auditors.

• Experience utilizing AI-driven tools to enhance project management, documentation, and tracking.
