Team Lead Security Engineering – Check Point

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and document secure and highly available IT infrastructures along with cybersecurity strategies.

• Identify, assess, and mitigate cybersecurity risks.

• Assist Account Management and Consulting teams with technical solutions and proposals.

• Execute a wide variety of IT and security projects.

• Provide service-oriented third-level support for complex technical issues related to Check Point.

• Participate in on-call duties for one week at a time, occurring two to three times a year.

• Organize and conduct workshops for customers.

• Lead a team of Security Engineers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed vocational training or a degree in IT or a related discipline.

• Experience in working with central IT systems in larger IT environments.

• Proficiency in routing and switching.

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience with Check Point, preferably with certification.

• A proactive and service-oriented work ethic.

• Strong sense of responsibility.

• Fluent in German (minimum C1 level).
