Team Lead, Revenue Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Provides daily operational leadership and guidance to the Revenue Services teams.

• Ensures the prompt and accurate billing and collection of company revenues.

• Engages in advanced activities to address and resolve issues related to billing, collections, and payments.

• Achieves high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering quality service while minimizing costs.

• Maintains an up-to-date understanding of billing, accounts receivable management, and payment processes.

• Offers training and resolves complex inquiries from team members and customers.

• Monitors and audits the team's adherence to regulations and internal controls.

• Collaborates with key internal stakeholders and provides leadership to the team.

• Analyzes account data to ensure accuracy in billing and collections.

⛳️ Requirements

• An associate degree in Paralegal Studies, Technology, or Business Administration.

• A minimum of five (5) years of relevant work experience OR a High School/GED degree combined with at least 7 years of related work experience.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

• Familiarity with utility commission rules and regulations.

• Conflict management skills to effectively resolve or mediate customer issues.

• Proven ability to work safely and knowledgeably about the company’s safety requirements and regulations.

• Proficient in SAP.

• Proficient in FACTA and Energy Protection.

• Comprehensive understanding of the dunning timeline.

• Ability to analyze and compare data to ensure accuracy.

• Strong problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

• Capability to research and investigate necessary information.

• Flexibility to adapt to tight timelines and work with minimal supervision.

• Ability to apply knowledge of customer accounts and systems to complex situations.
