This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Play a pivotal role in defining and enhancing product value across our digital offerings.

• Lead a team of Product Owners within an agile framework, ensuring clear product vision, strong stakeholder alignment, and successful delivery in a SAFe environment.

• Merge leadership skills with product ownership knowledge, empowering your team to convert business requirements into valuable, scalable, and customer-focused solutions.

• Guide, mentor, and nurture a team of Product Owners, aiding in their professional development and daily effectiveness.

• Ensure effective product ownership across various products, platforms, and initiatives, including well-organized backlogs, priorities, and value-driven outcomes.

• Assist Product Owners in interpreting business goals, customer demands, and stakeholder needs into actionable features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

• Cultivate strong cross-functional collaboration with Software Engineering, Architects, Product Management, Business Owners, Operations, and other stakeholders.

• Drive alignment between product strategy, portfolio priorities, and agile delivery teams within a SAFe framework.

• Advocate for agile best practices, continuous improvement, and a robust product-centric mindset throughout the team.

• Facilitate decision-making and prioritization by ensuring transparency regarding dependencies, risks, progress in delivery, and business value.

• Communicate proactively about challenges, trade-offs, and risks to the larger department, advocating for solutions and maintaining alignment with business objectives.

• Support PI Planning, backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and other agile ceremonies as required.

• Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, accountability, and customer-centric thinking.


⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a Product Owner or in a related role within an agile software development context.

• Experience in leading, mentoring, or coordinating Product Owners or cross-functional product teams.

• Comprehensive understanding of agile delivery methodologies, ideally including SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, PI Planning, and backlog management.

• Ability to translate business objectives, customer needs, and technical limitations into clear product priorities and actionable requirements.

• Experience in managing product backlogs, defining user stories, acceptance criteria, features, and prioritization frameworks.

• Strong skills in stakeholder management, capable of aligning varying perspectives and driving decisions in complex settings.

• Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to identifying dependencies, resolving obstacles, and managing delivery risks.

• Ability to effectively communicate product vision, priorities, and trade-offs to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Experience collaborating closely with software engineering teams, architects, UX/UI designers, business teams, and external vendors.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with over 5 years of professional experience in product ownership, product management, business analysis, or agile software delivery.
