Team Lead People Operations, Payroll

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Oversee daily People Operations activities throughout the entire employee lifecycle

• Manage the operational connection to payroll

• Ensure that payroll inputs, handovers, and data flows are accurate, timely, and efficiently managed

• Enhance processes, systems, and workflows to create simpler, smarter, and scalable operations

• Leverage automation and AI to minimize friction and support employees effectively

• Assist in improving employee benefits across different countries while considering local contexts

• Support and enhance IONITY’s internal car service

• Collaborate with People Partners and business stakeholders

• Lead, mentor, and develop the People Operations team

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in People Operations / HR Operations, with a focus on core employee lifecycle processes

• Strong background in payroll coordination and managing payroll-related operational processes

• Significant leadership experience in a dynamic, multi-country setting

• Experience in building or aligning People processes, services, or employee benefits across various countries

• Familiarity with Personio and Deel is highly advantageous

• Excellent attention to detail and a customer-focused attitude

• Curiosity regarding systems, automation, and AI technologies

• Practical, hands-on approach with a strong sense of ownership

• Proficiency in English is essential

• Knowledge of German or another European language is a plus
