Senior People Business Partner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assess the well-being of supported R&D teams and pinpoint future requirements.

• Mentor engineering and product managers on performance standards, expectations, feedback, and proactive problem-solving.

• Guide managers and senior leaders through phases of growth, transformation, and organizational challenges.

• Oversee organizational design, team configuration, and succession planning efforts.

• Create leadership development initiatives and offsite activities.

• Evaluate the effectiveness of programs and processes and modify them based on data insights.

• Collaborate closely with the HR team to ensure alignment between organizational health initiatives and global employee lifecycle support.

• Leverage modern technologies, including AI tools like Claude, to assess organizational health and assist managers in enhancing their effectiveness.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 12 years of experience working with senior leaders as a People or HR Business Partner, or in organizational development; or 8+ years with an advanced degree in a relevant field.

• Proven experience in infrastructure, security, developer tools, or a similarly technical product domain is essential.

• Extensive experience collaborating with technical teams such as Engineering and Product.

• Strong understanding of how R&D teams function.

• Experience in supporting a technical organization during rapid growth phases.

• A successful history of developing leaders at the senior level and above.

• Experience in coaching managers to enhance their performance.

• Proficiency in organizational design, succession planning, change management, and evaluating program effectiveness.

• Capability to influence senior leaders without formal authority.

• Sound judgment about when to take action, when to involve HR, and maintaining confidentiality.
