This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the team leader for the Neurology Patient Access team.
• Ensure the seamless operation of daily activities.
• Provide support to staff with operational inquiries and escalated calls.
• Conduct monthly quality assurance by reviewing staff phone calls.
• Step in to cover for colleagues during their absence.
• Engage in the training of new team members.
• Hold monthly one-on-one meetings with staff members.
• Drive team initiatives focused on department-specific collections within a payor.
• Assist staff in addressing department-specific challenges.
• Identify and resolve trends related to departments and payors.
• High school diploma or equivalent certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Insurance or Collections.
• Proficient in ICD 9 and CPT Coding, as well as ICD-9-CM.
• No specific certification or professional license is required for this role.
• A driver's license is not necessary for this position.
• Up to 22 days of vacation.
