This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium.
β’ Conduct KYC, verify documents, and perform screening checks.
β’ Establish benchmarks for precision, meticulousness, efficiency, and uniformity.
β’ Address intricate or sensitive compliance issues and assist in making challenging decisions.
β’ Act as a compliance exemplar for the team.
β’ Oversee and mentor members of the Customer Compliance team.
β’ Assess individual and collective performance in terms of quality and efficiency.
β’ Offer consistent feedback and coaching.
β’ Assist in prioritizing tasks and managing complex customer situations.
β’ Ensure that customer documentation adheres to KYC and business standards.
β’ Sustain verification and screening protocols throughout the customer journey.
β’ Oversee compliance during post-registration, pre-invoice, and pre-pickup phases.
β’ Detect gaps, risks, bottlenecks, and recurring procedural challenges.
β’ Enhance workflows, boost automation, and minimize manual processes.
β’ Keep abreast of KYC regulations and best practices in the European automotive sector.
β’ Recognize and escalate compliance-related risks.
β’ Reach out to customers for further information, clarification, or additional documentation.
β’ Clarify compliance requirements and assist customers through the verification process.
β’ Manage sensitive conversations with customers.
β’ Collaborate with Sales, Customer Support, Finance, Back Office, and other departments.
β’ Relay account approvals or pending requirements.
β’ Ensure seamless transfer of compliant accounts to the appropriate teams.
β’ Prior experience in Compliance, KYC, AML, Customer Verification, Back Office, Operations, or Administration.
β’ Experience in a team lead, senior, supervisory, or coaching capacity is a significant advantage.
β’ Strong grasp of KYC principles and customer verification methods.
β’ Genuine passion for compliance and staying informed about evolving regulatory standards.
β’ Exceptional attention to detail.
β’ Outstanding organizational and prioritization abilities.
β’ A methodical and analytical approach to problem-solving.
β’ A mindset focused on continuous improvement.
β’ Interest in automation, process optimization, and developing scalable operational workflows.
β’ Capacity to make informed decisions when faced with incomplete or complex data.
β’ Strong communication skills with confidence in direct customer interactions.

β’ Ability to work autonomously while also guiding and supporting a team.
β’ Comfortable in a dynamic international setting.
β’ Proficient in English; knowledge of other European languages is advantageous.
β’ Experience in the automotive industry or familiarity with the European automotive market is a plus.
β’ Fully remote position, allowing you to work from home.
