Team Lead, Automated Renewals

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Gain a comprehensive understanding of the company's objectives and initiatives; translate these to both team and individual levels.

• Oversee individual performance management, goal-setting, and development plans.

• Inspire, coach, train, and provide growth opportunities for team members.

• Facilitate regular one-on-one meetings and weekly team discussions.

• Conduct monthly performance audits and offer timely coaching to address performance gaps.

• Identify training requirements and manage onboarding as well as ongoing learning sessions.

• Foster an encouraging team atmosphere characterized by open communication.

• Build relationships within the Sales leadership team, sharing updates and feedback with management.

• Define team objectives and supervise daily operations to ensure achievement of SLAs and goals.

• Manage staffing strategies and ensure adequate resource allocation.

• Oversee client escalations effectively.

• Address renewal insurance leads.

• Evaluate potential clients' coverage needs.

• Enhance the customer journey and satisfaction, as measured by the Net Promoter Score.

• Identify and mentor staff to generate cross-selling opportunities.

⛳️ Requirements

• A valid provincial broker's license is required; RIBO designation is preferred.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the insurance industry, preferably in commercial insurance.

• At least 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience.

• Demonstrated persistence and agility in consistently meeting targets.

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to navigate multiple stakeholders and clients simultaneously.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of managing complex discussions.

• CAIB or CIP designation is considered an asset.
