This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Lead, mentor, and coach members of the travel and expense team.
• Delegate and prioritize assignments to guarantee the timely and precise processing of expense reports.
• Address escalations and resolve challenges efficiently and professionally within set timeframes.
• Act as the main contact for escalated queries related to travel and expenses.
• Achieve team Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and objectives.
• Create a supportive and motivating workplace, inspiring staff to reach and surpass performance goals.
• Collaborate with other team leaders to optimize resource allocation where necessary.
• Offer training and guidance to employees on travel and expense policies and system usage as needed.
• Assess training needs and partner with management to design and implement training programs for the team.
• Review existing travel and expense processes to identify areas for efficiency improvements and enhancements.
• Undertake additional responsibilities and tasks assigned to support the overarching goals of the team/department.
• An Associate's Degree (or equivalent 2-year post-secondary training) coupled with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
• Alternatively, 8 years of relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
• Background in expense reporting finance or a related field, preferably within a large multi-business unit organization.
• Familiarity with government accounting principles, including rules and regulations regarding expense report allowability.
• Over 1 year of experience with Concur or similar travel and expense management systems.
