Team Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Manage and mentor a team of 3-6 engineers distributed across various Scrum teams.

• Support team growth by providing performance feedback and facilitating continuous learning.

• Collaborate with project leaders to enhance the strengths of team members.

• Allocate between 40% and 50% of time to hands-on coding and related technical tasks.

• Provide technical oversight in the integration of AI components into large-scale projects.

• Guide the team in the deployment of end-to-end solutions, optimizing and integrating all layers of the tech stack.

• Identify innovation opportunities by driving the integration of AI, Machine Learning, and LLMs into the company's products.

• Foster a collaborative environment by maintaining clear communication with all stakeholders.

• Promote a culture of continuous improvement by staying updated with industry trends and emerging technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience as a Software Engineering Lead, Technical Lead, or a similar role focused on AI and software development.

• Strong hands-on coding experience, with proficiency in multiple programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java).

• Extensive experience with the complete software development lifecycle and full-stack technologies.

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevOps practices.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments managing teams of 3 to 6 engineers.

• Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining high standards of quality and performance.

• Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken) is essential for effective communication in global settings.

• Excellent leadership, mentoring, and communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Ability to provide regular feedback, set clear objectives, and facilitate professional development opportunities.
