Team Lead – Application Development

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Offer technical supervision and direction to developers and architects in the delivery of comprehensive data solutions.

• Foster the enhancement of technical and business capabilities through mentorship and knowledge sharing.

• Identify, assess, and create efficiencies within current solutions.

• Spearhead the modernization of legacy flat-file integrations utilizing Azure Data Factory, Azure Function Apps, and Azure SQL.

• Design and implement cloud-native data pipelines, including orchestration for API-based ingestion and delivery.

• Engage in planning for the organization's future technological requirements.

• Facilitate the transition from flat-file inbound/outbound processes to API-driven integration models.

• Ensure solutions are in accordance with cloud architecture standards and modernization objectives.

• Apply industry standards and best practices to Holman solutions.

• Assist in onboarding and continuous skill development through training, coaching, and guidance.

• Provide input for development and performance evaluations.

• Assign tasks and establish deadlines.

• Set technical goals, monitor deliverables, and report on performance and delivery metrics.

• Carry out other duties and special projects as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or IT preferred.

• Practical application development experience.

• Advanced hands-on proficiency with .NET Core and Entity Framework Core.

• Capability to review developer code, enforce coding standards, and assist in performance tuning of data-access patterns.

• Understanding of Azure resources and architecture.

• Extensive experience in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including development patterns, version control, and deployment pipelines.

• Advanced knowledge of data movement and transformation processes.

• Practical experience in data modeling.

• Familiarity with ETL tools.

• Experience or knowledge of Business Intelligence (BI) Reporting Tools.

• Over 10 years of experience in application development.

• Experience supporting CI/CD processes, including Azure DevOps pipelines for .NET, API, Azure Function Apps, and ADF deployments.

• Skills in Business Process development.

• Design experience with a proven history of designing and leading projects.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to convert high-level cloud strategies into actionable technical directives.

• Capacity to adapt swiftly to new or evolving work environments.

• Ability to work within financial and budgetary constraints.

• Proficiency in identifying and resolving operational issues using established processes, expertise, and sound judgment.
