Teacher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• In this teaching role at our school, you will be responsible for managing all elements of the student learning journey.

• Educators will design comprehensive and challenging lessons grounded in Project-Based Learning best practices and will deliver instruction both synchronously and asynchronously throughout the week.

• Teachers will work collaboratively with peers and Co-Teach during our PBL afternoon Work Labs to involve students in real-world applications, making learning engaging for every student we educate.

• Participation in weekly Professional Learning Communities (PLCs), regular staff meetings, and ongoing professional development as outlined by the leadership is expected.

• Educators will engage with both the school community and the greater community to advocate for the school’s mission and vision, fostering a positive atmosphere for students and enhancing the school’s public image.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree is required.

• A teaching certificate in the relevant subject area is necessary.

• At least 2 years of classroom teaching experience in either public or private education (virtual teaching experience is a plus but not mandatory).

• Willingness to travel as necessary to ensure program integrity and growth.

• Capability to meet school deliverables effectively.

• A strong desire to lead engaging PBL classrooms.

• Familiarity with education regulations and policies in Texas is essential.

• Excellent communication skills are required.

• Ability to establish relationships with students, parents, and staff members.

• An understanding of the culture and mission of private schools is important.
