Taxonomy & Ontology Curator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Integrate **new entities** into the Ads team's **Knowledge Graph**, ensuring compliance with established schemas and ontologies.

• Act as the **main point of contact** for **Product, Engineering, and Analytics** teams seeking entity additions or modifications to schemas.

• **Assess and prioritize** incoming requests based on **business significance**, urgency, and **technical viability**.

• Conduct **data entry and labeling** to facilitate **automated content understanding** processes.

• **Adjust and enhance LLM prompts** to boost **automation in content understanding**.

• Review and validate **LLM-generated entities**, endorsing high-confidence outputs, correcting near-misses, and dismissing **hallucinations**.

• Carry out thorough **QA and validation** to guarantee **ontological consistency** and **factual correctness**.

• Develop **Golden Sets** through targeted labeling to evaluate model performance and aid in the **fine-tuning of classifiers and extraction models**.

• Identify and rectify **data integrity issues**, including error correction, **merging duplicate entities**, and resolving relationship conflicts.

• Deliver clear **stakeholder feedback**, provide status updates, explain **modeling rationale**, and assist teams with effective **Knowledge Graph querying**.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience with **Knowledge Graph**.

• Strong grasp of graph concepts (Nodes, Edges, Properties).

• Familiarity with Taxonomy & Ontology - Experience in categorizing data, managing hierarchies, and comprehending semantic relationships among entities.

• Proficient in navigating complex datasets.

• Experience with SQL, SPARQL, or Cypher is highly desirable.

• Understanding of Generative AI mechanisms, common failure modes (hallucinations), and the critical role of ground-truth data in training.
