This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Perform accounting tasks of medium complexity, conducting analyses and reconciling tax and accounting data;
• Assist the team in pinpointing inconsistencies, recommending necessary modifications, and ensuring processes adhere to legal standards;
• Enhance the quality of deliverables and the accuracy of generated reports.
• Intermediate understanding of tax regulations applicable to companies under Simples Nacional and Lucro Presumido;
• Advanced comprehension of tax regularization processes at municipal, state, and federal levels;
• Experience in filing federal ancillary tax obligations;
• Familiarity with Payroll (Departamento Pessoal) processes, including labor tax calculations and specific ancillary obligations;
• Experience with state obligations (GIA, Sintegra, DIFAL, ICMS ST);
• Intermediate knowledge of fundamental company registration procedures with tax and regulatory authorities;
• Intermediate understanding of accounting bookkeeping;
• Capability to prepare complex reports and tax documentation;
• Proficiency in managing tax installment arrangements, issuing, controlling, and offsetting payment slips (Guias de Recolhimento);
• Extensive knowledge of systems utilized by federal, state, and municipal portals;
• Ability to identify and analyze complex issues, including interpreting state tax notifications and personnel-related notices;
• Competence in developing quotes/budgets and negotiating intricate processes, adjusting values based on client specifications;
• Advanced expertise in accounting and tax management software (Questor, SIEG, Acessórias);
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office.
