Regional Support Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Offer operational assistance in collaboration with DEWALT Field Engineers and the Anchors & Fasteners specialty team.

• Utilize technical data, proprietary design software, and market databases to address product inquiries.

• Generate project specification leads to create sales opportunities.

• Collaborate and provide support to internal teams, including sales teams, the Field Engineering Team, and ANF Specialists, to promote growth.

• Cultivate a thorough understanding of specified fastening products under the DEWALT and Elco brands.

• Prepare engineering product submittals for field personnel to aid in the sale of DEWALT Specified products.

• Consistently evaluate jobsite data and forthcoming construction projects to supply leads to local sales teams, the Field Engineering team, and ANF Specialists using Dodge Pipeline and Salesforce.

• Maintain and analyze client records in CRM to assist the ANF team in developing opportunity pipelines.

• Provide assistance to the ANF leadership team as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• An Associate’s degree or equivalent with a technical component is required.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in the construction industry; sales experience is an advantage.

• Experience in a construction job site is required.

• Capability to read and comprehend blueprints, construction specifications, and related documents.

• Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues is a plus.

• A strong desire to develop effective communication skills—both verbal and written—is essential.

• Must manage multiple priorities, organize, plan, meet deadlines, and multitask in a fast-paced environment.

• Possess strong interpersonal, follow-up, and documentation skills.

• Self-motivated individual capable of managing one’s own schedule and working from home.

• A valid driver’s license is required.

• Proficient in computer applications, including Salesforce, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office suite products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
