Tax Preparer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Analyze and assess client tax and revenue information to ensure the preparation of accurate returns.

• Create supporting documentation and reconcile client accounts with imported tax data.

• Manage and execute state and local tax filings—both on paper and online—and guarantee timely payments.

• Engage with clients throughout the tax preparation process and represent them with relevant agencies as necessary.

• Foster strong client relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.

• Handle business renewal applications and exemption certifications.

• Bachelor’s degree (preferably in mathematics) or equivalent experience in accounting.

• Exceptional attention to detail and precision in data entry and calculations.

• Strong mathematical and analytical abilities.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other digital tools.

• Excellent communication skills for interactions with both internal and external clients.

• Efficient prioritization and time management abilities to meet tax deadlines.

• Knowledge of tax requirements specific to the telecommunications industry.

• Experience using tax preparation software.
