This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee client interactions by promptly addressing emails, inquiries, billing concerns, and payment confirmations in a professional manner.
• Prepare, manage, and disseminate surplus lines tax reports, tax payments, and filing confirmations to clients.
• Regularly communicate and coordinate with state regulators to ensure adherence to surplus lines requirements and regulations.
• Assign and supervise backend processing tasks to support operational efficiency and precision.
• Train, mentor, and offer daily guidance to team members on workflows, processes, and best practices.
• Act as an escalation point for client and operational challenges, including involvement in client issue resolution calls.
• Provide cross-functional assistance and backup support for leadership team members as necessary.
• Efficiently manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment while collaborating with clients, regulators, accounting teams, and internal departments.
• High school diploma or an equivalent qualification is required.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in surplus lines tax filing is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, Access, and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong customer service orientation with a dedication to problem-solving and providing exceptional client support.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, capable of effectively engaging with clients and professionally de-escalating concerns.
• A collaborative team player committed to supporting colleagues and contributing to overall team success.
• Highly detail-oriented and process-focused, with an emphasis on accuracy, organization, and thorough documentation.
• Technically adept with the capability to quickly learn and navigate various internal and external systems and platforms.
