Tax Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• The Manager of Accounting & Tax will oversee daily accounting operations.

• This role will ensure adherence to tax regulations while assisting in the preparation of precise and timely financial statements and tax submissions.

• The position involves close collaboration with senior management and external auditors to maintain compliance with financial and tax reporting standards.

• A strong technical foundation in accounting and tax is required, along with meticulous attention to detail and the capability to juggle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.

• The role also includes supporting the documentation process and the creation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master's degree in Finance is required.

• Candidates should have 8-10 years of experience in book closing activities and tax returns, with at least 6-7 years in a managerial or leadership capacity.

• Comprehensive knowledge of tax laws, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements (such as GAAP, IFRS, and corporate tax laws) is essential.

• Previous experience with tools such as OneSource and Salesforce is preferred.

• Strong accounting expertise and background in the U.S. Tax domain or insurance sector are necessary.

• Excellent communication skills are required, along with attention to detail, strong analytical abilities, and sound logical reasoning skills.

• The ability to work autonomously while effectively managing multiple priorities is crucial.

• Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with senior leadership is essential.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, allowing for effective influence and collaboration with diverse stakeholders, are required.

• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities are a must.

• High attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines is essential.
