This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Act as a trusted advisor for clients, showcasing expertise in industry trends, identifying client issues and conflicts; proactively communicate potential solutions to both clients and the team.
• Oversee staff on engagement deliverables (such as financial statements, tax returns, work papers, etc.); conduct technical and strategic reviews as part of the final engagement review team to ensure adherence to quality control standards; guarantee timely and budget-compliant delivery.
• Exhibit proficient technical skills in managing all client responsibilities, including an understanding of trends, industries, alternatives, and more.
• Comprehend the client's organization, processes, and internal policies.
• Take charge of new client development in collaboration with senior management; engage in client meetings, presentations, and proposal development while achieving individual cross-service goals.
• Manage and maintain multiple client relationships, engagements, and special projects.
• Create a comprehensive budget for engagements.
• Regularly meet charge hour objectives.
• Handle billing and realization for assigned clients; clarify any discrepancies.
• Supervise, train, and mentor staff; communicate and listen effectively.
• Promote a collaborative team environment; support management decisions and contribute to a positive culture.
• Engage in practice development initiatives that foster the generation of new business and opportunities for cross-service collaborations.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• 5 years of experience in a related field.
• 3 years of supervisory experience.
• Required licenses must be obtained and maintained.
• Capability to manage all components of client engagements.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, at all organizational levels, internally and externally.
• Proficient in the use of relevant technology.
• Willingness to travel based on client and business requirements.
