This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Oversee, mentor, and nurture one direct report to assist key customers within the designated Channel for the Nestle Health Science (NHSc) portfolio across multiple categories, focusing on Vitamin and Hydration brands.
• Manage customer relationships and category management responsibilities for the assigned accounts.
• Provide actionable insights to enhance category performance, positioning NHSc as the primary retail partner.
• Identify and utilize data tools and capabilities to implement top-tier actions that align with company and retailer goals.
• Collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders, including Sales Teams, Customer Strategy, Category Strategy, Shopper Marketing, Visual Merchandising, and Shopper Insights, to create category solutions.
• Design and lead innovative, insight-driven strategies and projects aimed at promoting NHSc and category growth, establishing NHSc as a reliable category partner.
• Recognize category growth opportunities and incorporate them into the development and execution of retailer-specific category business plans to meet 4P objectives.
• Establish and present best-in-class merchandising and assortment recommendations utilizing key tools such as JDA, Rich Mix, etc.
• Support and/or create strategic direction for the 4Ps based on category strategy, best practices from customer/account teams, and insights from customers and shoppers.
• Create and deliver clear, concise, and impactful category-led presentations for retailers that effectively communicate opportunities, risks, and suggested actions.
• Develop and maintain regular category line reviews, analyses, trackers, and summaries to reinforce NHSc's category focus and expertise.
• Collaborate with customer account teams and internal Customer Strategy/Category Strategy to identify and pursue business growth opportunities.
• A Bachelor's degree is required.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in Consumer Packaged Goods is preferred.
• Experience in the FMCG sector, particularly with a focus on Category Management, is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with key customers and channels, specifically in the Drug sector.
• Proficient in advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Prior experience with IRI/Nielsen syndicated and panel data is necessary.
• Experience with JDA is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in Walgreens RSI/Loyalty and CVS CMG is an advantage.
• Strong skills in data synthesis and visualization are essential.
• Must be capable of leading multiple retailers across a region.
• Willingness to travel overnight 25% of the time or more is required.
