This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Oversee the complete recruitment process for maritime engineering and research & development positions.
• Collaborate with technical hiring managers to establish hiring priorities and define candidate profiles.
• Develop focused talent pipelines within the maritime engineering and naval technology sectors.
• Identify and connect with engineers specializing in maritime systems, robotics, autonomy, and related technologies.
• Offer insights regarding talent availability and potential hiring risks within specialized maritime industries.
• Ensure a structured approach to candidate evaluation and provide clear hiring recommendations.
• Keep precise recruitment pipelines and data updated within Personio.
• Proficient in both English and German.
• Extensive experience in recruiting specialized engineering or R&D positions.
• Proven track record in sourcing and hiring within maritime, naval, defense, or advanced engineering fields.
• Ability to form credible partnerships with senior engineering leaders and technical hiring managers in demanding technical hiring contexts.
• Experience collaborating closely with engineering teams on intricate technical roles.
• Strong preference for a solid understanding of Northern Germany’s maritime engineering landscape.
• Highly organized and adept at working independently in a rapidly evolving environment.
