This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Create and implement innovative recruiting strategies to attract top talent in competitive construction markets, focusing on craft and field roles.
• Collaborate closely with Operations leaders and Hiring Managers to gain insight into workforce requirements and recruitment priorities.
• Identify candidates through various channels, including online platforms, industry networks, referrals, database searches, job boards, social media, community outreach, and recruitment events.
• Develop and sustain pipelines of qualified candidates for both current and future vacancies.
• Conduct phone screenings and interviews to assess candidates' skills, qualifications, and cultural fit.
• Manage candidate communications and oversee the recruitment process from sourcing to onboarding.
• Advocate for employer branding initiatives to enhance candidate attraction efforts.
• Monitor recruitment metrics and provide updates to leadership regarding hiring progress and market trends.
• Foster relationships with trade schools, workforce development organizations, industry associations, and community partners.
• Assist in workforce planning initiatives and address challenging recruitment efforts across various geographic regions.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and company hiring policies.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, Communications, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 2 years of full-cycle recruiting experience in the construction sector.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Demonstrated experience in recruiting for craft, field, skilled trades, or labor-intensive construction roles.
• Background in recruiting for positions such as:
• Roofing
• Waterproofing
• Glazing
• Architectural Metals
• Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, General Construction, or similar skilled trades environments.
• Familiarity with ATS platforms and recruiting technologies.
• Strong sourcing abilities utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, social media, and networking techniques.
• Understanding of employment laws and best practices in recruiting.
• Excellent organizational skills with the capability to manage multiple requisitions at once.
