Takeoff & Estimating Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluate architectural plans, elevations, and construction drawings.

• Generate precise quantity takeoffs utilizing plans and takeoff software.

• Annotate and structure elevations, room counts, and project scope details.

• Recognize specialty finishes, including wallpaper, wall coverings, and custom finishes.

• Input and update takeoff quantities and project information in Excel spreadsheets.

• Reach out to suppliers to gather pricing for wallpaper, specialty finishes, and related materials.

• Solicit and assess quotes to aid the estimating process.

• Negotiate pricing and discounts when applicable.

• Compile vendor information, pricing data, and supporting documentation for estimates.

• Carry out additional responsibilities associated with the role as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient level of English (written and spoken).

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

• At least 1 year of experience in quantity takeoffs and estimating.

• Skilled in takeoff software such as Togal.AI, PlanSwift, or Bluebeam, as well as Excel.

• Capability to read and interpret architectural plans, elevations, and construction drawings.

• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.

• Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Dependable computer (Windows 10 or newer), dual monitors, and stable high-speed internet.
