• Serve as the hands-on technical leader for dashboard creation, reporting, and data engineering tasks within a large-scale Medicaid Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) and analytics initiative.
• Design, develop, and sustain enterprise-level dashboards and reports utilizing Tableau and Python-based frameworks, ensuring they are efficient, reusable, and durable.
• Construct and enhance scalable data processing pipelines with Python to meet both ongoing analytical demands and federal reporting standards.
• Write and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures across relational databases—mainly Teradata—with an emphasis on precision and efficiency at an enterprise level.
• Assist with Medicaid analytics and federal reporting efforts including T-MSIS, PERM, MARS, and Quality of Care programs, collaborating closely with subject matter experts and compliance teams.
• Engage in cloud migration and modernization efforts within Azure-based environments, aiding the transition from legacy systems to contemporary platforms.
• Work alongside analysts, QA teams, and BI reporting leads to ensure data quality, address discrepancies, and guarantee timely delivery of reporting outputs.
• Support operational activities, including incident response and root-cause analysis, while contributing to a stable and reliable analytics ecosystem.
• Take part in code reviews, uphold source control standards, and operate within CI/CD workflows using Azure DevOps and GitHub.
• Over 5 years of experience in enterprise reporting and dashboard development, with a solid emphasis on Tableau and Business Objects.
• More than 5 years of practical experience in Python development for data engineering and automation tasks.
• At least 3 years of experience working with Spark-based processing frameworks such as Databricks.
• Strong SQL proficiency with experience in relational databases including Teradata, Snowflake, Oracle, or SQL Server.
• Proven experience with source control and DevOps methodologies, including Azure DevOps, GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Analytics, or a related area.
