Lead Software Engineer, Java

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Assist in the development, implementation, and execution of a long-term vision and strategy for the Corporate Payments cross-functional and core services.

• Collaboratively establish and roll out a detailed architectural roadmap for the EnCompass platform.

• Cultivate a culture of innovation, teamwork, empowerment, and continuous learning among the engineering teams.

• Consistently challenge existing norms and introduce mechanisms to minimize time-to-market through efficient engineering practices.

• Work in partnership with other Corporate Payments engineering teams to leverage development practices and components.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in software engineering.

• Proficiency in the rapid development and deployment of both internal and external services utilizing cloud computing platforms like AWS or Azure.

• Experience in creating high-quality automation, including well-structured unit, component, and integration tests.

• Strong grasp of security and compliance requirements in cloud and data environments.

• Exceptional leadership, team-building, and agile decision-making abilities.

• Capacity to navigate ambiguity and excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
