Backend Developer – AI, Quantum Computing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Co-manage the core library for our QruiseOS product, ensuring seamless integration with control electronics APIs and our QruiseML product.

• Engage with QruiseOS, a unified environment that empowers developers of Quantum Computers to effectively characterize, calibrate, and monitor their quantum devices.

• Contribute to the development of our hybrid deployment tools tailored for cloud-native environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in backend/server-side development, ideally with a focus on Python.

• Proficiency in constructing cloud-native technology stacks, preferably for AI/ML applications.

• Familiarity with Docker, microservices, and AWS is preferred.

• Comfort and expertise in utilizing modern agentic AI-driven development processes (such as Claude code, Codex, and OpenCode).

• Experience with accelerated computing on CPU/GPU clusters is a valuable asset.

• Background in developing ML workflows and data lakes is beneficial but not mandatory.

• A solid understanding of automatic differentiation, optimization, numerical modeling, and integration (especially ODEs) is advantageous but not essential.

• Excellent communication skills and a commitment to regular knowledge sharing are essential.

• Must either reside in or be willing to relocate to a location compatible with EU time zones (CET±1).
