TAB Technician, Testing, Adjusting, Balancing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Conduct testing, adjustment, and balancing (TAB) of air and water (hydronic) HVAC systems to ensure they align with design specifications.

• Evaluate systems to confirm adherence to project plans and detect any performance issues.

• Interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, control schematics, and equipment data accurately.

• Thoroughly document all testing, adjusting, and balancing tasks using specific reporting procedures for the project.

⛳️ Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED is mandatory.

• NEBB or AABC certification is preferred, though not essential.

• Proficient math skills, particularly in calculations related to air and water (hydronic) balancing.

• Capability to read and comprehend mechanical drawings, technical documents, and Statements of Work (SOWs).

• Ability to work autonomously with a keen attention to detail and a dedication to high-quality work.
