T-Line Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Ensure the successful installation of transmission infrastructure and associated systems by offering on-site supervision of construction contractors.

• Engage in the assessment of project drawings and submittals, evaluate feasibility, and provide constructive feedback to the engineering team to ensure that the quality of materials, equipment, and workmanship meets specifications and adheres to contractual obligations.

• Collaborate with the Site Manager and the owner's Project Manager during the review of project schedules and updates.

• Oversee and ensure quality control of the working team.

• Manage the interface with interconnection personnel for the connection of the project power grid to the existing transmission system.

• Act as the point of contact between engineers, contractors, and craft workers to guarantee that electrical components of the project align with drawings and specifications.

• Attend and engage in project meetings, both on-site and remotely.

• Foster and contribute to a positive work atmosphere within the project team.

• Maintain strong relationships with all site visitors, including customers, contractors, and landowners.

• Evaluate logistics for efficiency and offer recommendations for enhancements.

• Review and monitor the contractor’s procurement of electrical resources, methodologies, staffing, look-ahead schedules, and coordination with other site activities.

• Collaborate with engineering staff to ensure plans, specifications, submittals, and RFIs are accurately and promptly communicated to subcontractors.

• Oversee the safety, quality, and efficiency of contractor work on each project.

• Ensure that owner-supplied subcontract crews have the necessary resources and support.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a lineman.

• Valid driver’s license.
