Systems Support Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Costa Rica.

📋 Description

• Assisting in the upkeep of our online documentation systems that utilize Markdown, REST APIs, and relevant workflows.

• Showcasing proficiency in Git, GitHub workflows, and GitHub Actions to facilitate platform migrations, test workflows, and validate release processes.

• Exhibiting experience with fundamental scripting languages including Python, JavaScript, Bash, or PowerShell.

• Demonstrating an understanding of "documentation-as-code" principles and CI/CD methodologies.

• Prioritizing and managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while employing Jira for efficient issue tracking.

• Diagnosing technical issues, analyzing systems, and proactively seeking methods to automate and enhance workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess 2+ years of relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Technical Communication, or a related discipline.

• Exhibit outstanding problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

• Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong emphasis on effectively documenting processes.

• Show exceptional organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.

• Quickly adapt to new systems and technologies, concentrating on thorough process comprehension and precise documentation practices.

• Investigate AI-enhanced operations and workflow automation with an emphasis on innovation, efficiency, and seamless integration into current processes.
