Systems Requirement Engineer, Jama Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Act as the main Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Jama Connect, focusing on configuration, workflows, and governance.

• Establish, standardize, and enhance best practices for requirements management across engineering teams.

• Create and deliver training programs related to Jama Connect and its associated processes.

• Design and execute role-based workflows in Jama, ensuring that only authorized requirements proceed to downstream execution.

• Collaborate with engineering, product, and program teams to guarantee traceability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with over 5 years of experience in requirements/systems.

• Extensive hands-on experience with Jama Connect is essential (including configuration, workflows, and/or administration).

• Strong knowledge of requirements lifecycle management and systems engineering principles.

• Experience in defining and implementing workflow governance, encompassing approval states and role-based access.

• Demonstrated ability to train and empower engineering teams on tools and processes.

• Excellent English communication and stakeholder management skills within engineering and product organizations.

• Familiarity with integrations and Jira usage.
