Senior System Software Engineer – Automotive

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Create and develop system software for the NVIDIA DRIVE platform that complies with safety (ISO26262) and security (ISO21434) standards for autonomous vehicles.

• Devise innovative and straightforward solutions to intricate system challenges by breaking them down into manageable parts.

• Design Real-Time System Software solutions for NVIDIA Tegra SOC.

• Conduct development and bring-up tasks for next-generation Tegra SOC hardware.

• Collaborate with the ASIC teams to enhance virtualization capabilities within the SOC.

• Create debugging solutions and tools to enhance the developer experience on the DRIVE platform.

• Learn to maximize and maintain consistent system software performance, developing workflows and tools to evaluate performance.

• Address complex issues that necessitate interactions between components distributed throughout the extensive software stack.

• Utilize Formal Methods extensively to produce high-integrity software, benefiting from improved toolchain automation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science from a recognized engineering institution.

• Over 8 years of experience in System Software development for real-time embedded systems.

• Strong grasp of computer architecture and operating system principles.

• Proficient in C/C++ and/or Ada/SPARK programming and debugging.

• Practical experience with debugging tools such as gdb and valgrind.

• A committed, proactive, and strong team player who is self-driven with outstanding analytical and interpersonal abilities.
