This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Collaborate with global trade teams, IT departments, and external partners to collect and document business requirements.
• Evaluate existing processes and systems to pinpoint gaps and opportunities for enhancement.
• Convert business needs into functional and technical specifications.
• Design IT solutions that support global trade operations, such as customs compliance, import/export processes, and trade finance.
• Ensure that solutions align with business objectives, regulatory mandates, and industry best practices.
• Assist in the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects associated with global trade.
• Collaborate closely with project managers to guarantee that projects are completed on schedule, within scope, and on budget.
• Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to promote clear communication and alignment.
• Facilitate workshops, meetings, and discussions to gather feedback and validate solutions.
• Ensure IT solutions adhere to international trade regulations and standards.
• Identify potential risks and collaborate with teams to devise mitigation strategies.
• Develop and implement test plans to confirm that IT solutions meet business requirements and quality criteria.
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and address issues as they arise.
• Recognize opportunities for process optimization and automation to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to propose innovative solutions.
• Create comprehensive documentation, including business requirements, process flows, and user manuals.
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders and senior management regarding project status, risks, and issues.
• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
• Graduate Degree with at least 4 years of related experience.
• In the absence of a degree, a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience is required.
• At least 4 years of experience in IT business analysis.
• Practical experience supporting global trade operations within an IT framework.
• Experience with ERP systems and global trade management software.
• Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies.
• Familiarity with global trade systems such as Descartes OCR EASE or equivalent platforms.
• Knowledge of data analysis, reporting tools, and process modeling.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the capability to translate technical concepts into business language.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Understanding of international trade regulations, customs compliance, and import/export processes.
• PMP, CBAP, ITIL, or other relevant certifications are advantageous.
• Familiarity with trade finance, supply chain operations, and logistics processes.
• Experience with data integration, APIs, and system interfaces.
• Knowledge of automation tools and technologies.
