This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop, sustain, and analyze electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and other related project documentation.
• Engineer and implement PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) and HMI (Human Machine Interface) systems for the automation of renewable energy generation projects.
• Execute integration tasks for substation systems and devices, which include protective relays, RTACs (Real-Time Automation Controllers), and communication networks.
• Direct, test, and troubleshoot electrical control systems under the supervision of senior integrators or independently to ensure optimal functionality and performance.
• Conduct on-site field commissioning activities, such as system setup, device activation, and network troubleshooting.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to guarantee project success.
• Keep current knowledge and comply with relevant industry standards and safety regulations, including NERC CIP.
• Acquire and adapt to new technologies and programming methodologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a closely related field; relevant professional experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
• Experience in electrical systems, control systems, and automation principles.
• Proficient in PLC programming and HMI design.
• Competence in one or more programming languages (Ladder Logic, Function Block Diagram, or Structured Text).
• Experience in designing and/or troubleshooting fiber optic networks.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics, including single-line diagrams and P&C drawings.
• Familiarity with HMI design, development, and commissioning.
• Understanding and demonstrated application of automation, integration, and system protection principles.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel 25-35% of the time.
• Valid driver’s license and the ability to meet company driving standards.
• Must possess permanent authorization to work in the U.S.
