
Systems Engineer – Clearance Required

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Provide support for Army logistics systems enterprise architecture, business architecture, and systems engineering projects.
• Perform research and analysis to assess enterprise systems, business processes, technical architectures, and organizational effectiveness.
• Examine business and technical requirements to facilitate enterprise architecture, modernization, and digital transformation efforts.
• Create executive-level briefings, reports, decision papers, presentations, and architectural recommendations to assist Army logistics leadership.
• Aid in the development, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of enterprise architecture frameworks, business processes, governance activities, and technical standards.
• Coordinate actions and recommendations among various Army organizations, functional stakeholders, and technical teams.
• Assess current and future state business processes, enterprise capabilities, and technology solutions to uncover improvement opportunities.
• Assist with system compliance, risk management, and security authorization efforts, as necessary.
• Lead architecture reviews, technical working groups, business process improvement sessions, and stakeholder engagements while documenting decisions and tracking follow-up actions.
• Create performance metrics, dashboards, and analytical products to enhance leadership visibility, enterprise decision-making, and organizational efficiency.
• Contribute to enterprise modernization, systems integration, business process reengineering, data management, and technology implementation projects.
• Engage in business development activities, including market research, proposal assistance, solution creation, and client interaction, as needed.
• Execute additional consulting, analytical, technical, and project support tasks as assigned.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Engineering, Business, Management, Logistics, or a related field.
• 3-10+ years of professional experience in supporting Army logistics, enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, systems engineering, business architecture, or other complex government organizations.
• Experience in enterprise architecture, systems engineering, cybersecurity, business process analysis, or technology modernization initiatives.
• Understanding of enterprise architecture principles, systems integration, business process improvement, and information technology governance.
• Strong analytical abilities, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with architecture, modeling, collaboration, or project management tools.
• Proven capacity to gather, analyze, and synthesize technical and business information into concise, actionable recommendations.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including experience in crafting executive-level briefings, reports, and presentations.
• Proven ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and work efficiently within cross-functional teams.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.
• This role requires an active Secret security clearance.
