This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Become a member of a small, multi-disciplinary team of engineers dedicated to supporting the Transportation Technology and Tolling Solutions (T3S) OmniToll product line through solution development, integration, and testing activities.
• Act as both an individual contributor and a deputy technical lead.
• Provide support for live operations available 24/7.
• Engage in solution development.
• Participate in integration efforts.
• Conduct testing procedures.
• Oversee the execution of tasks within the technical team.
• Contribute to documentation efforts.
• Early career engineer with less than 5 years of experience.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to convey concepts across all levels of the company.
• Proven experience in coordinating task execution among a diverse group of team members and stakeholders.
• Comfortable presenting technical material to senior management and customer leadership.
• Highly developed problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong technical writing capabilities.
• Self-motivated and capable of independently developing and executing tasks or working within integrated teams.
• Ability to understand and appreciate the overall “big picture.”
• Proficient in Python/scripting, including code adaptation, editing, and advanced scripting.
• Familiar with Windows-based security and administration, including Group Policy, STIG Configs, Active Directory, and Certificate Services.
• Knowledgeable in system security design, development, configuration, and integration, including architecture, IAM, Zero Trust, and IDS/IPS.
• Experience with automation integration.
• Understanding of virtualized systems and environments.
• Comfortable using Linux/Unix workstations and familiar with Linux commands.
• Experienced with integrated software development tools such as Jenkins, GIT, and Visual Studio.
• Familiarity with HTML and JSON schemas.
• Knowledge of communication technologies, including TCP/IP, HTTP, and basic networking principles.
• Experienced in using software development tools like Gradle, Eclipse, and Artifactory.
• Acquainted with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Familiar with configuration management, including tooling for software, configuration, use cases, and documentation.
• Experience with AI/ML tools and their application in analysis, modeling, application development, integration, and testing.
