This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Lead discussions with clients to gather requirements, document business and/or technical specifications, and create test cases that facilitate application development, unit testing, and User Acceptance Testing.

• Partner with clients, operations, and/or vendors to comprehend business needs, showcasing the ability to transform these requirements into comprehensive documentation.

• Translate requirements into effective workflow design documentation.

• Collaborate effectively across various cross-functional teams, including operations, application development, product management, and significant vendor partnerships.

• Assist in quality assurance (QA) and user acceptance testing (UAT), identifying and reporting bugs or defects.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.

• 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in Requirements Gathering.

• 3 years of relevant experience in direct mortgage lending.

• Extensive knowledge of the mortgage loan process, including origination, processing, underwriting, closing/funding, and post-closing activities.

• Preferred experience with DSCR (Business Purpose Loans) lending.

• Familiarity with SDLC methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile.

• Proficient in using standard office equipment such as printers, scanners, copiers, fax machines, telephones, personal computers, and other peripheral devices.
