This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Create and implement a roadmap strategy to enhance the efficiency of the client invoice process in collaboration with the Billing process owner.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration to identify, prioritize, and execute improvements in the Billing system processes.
• Address issues that require data analysis, consideration of relevant factors, and resolution of problems.
• Collaborate with senior staff when navigating complex issues, larger clients, accounts, projects, analyses, and internal relationships.
• Engage with global business process owners to establish business requirements, draft test cases, and manage cut-over activities, ensuring alignment with other stakeholders.
• Adhere to corporate policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Oversee internal controls and Standard Operating Procedures (SoPs) for the billing sub-process.
• Manage invoice process system administrative duties.
• Evaluate Oracle releases to recommend applicable implementations for RTI client invoice processes.
• Provide training on new features and offer ad-hoc support, including troubleshooting assistance.
• Prioritize, design, and test reports as necessary.
• Maintain and update relevant process documentation and training materials.
• Suggest and monitor metrics to evaluate billing workflow efficiency and effectiveness.
• Oversee the project invoice portfolio (50%).
• Manage the project portfolio to generate and process client invoices, aiming to minimize unbilled balances.
• Act as the primary resource for addressing technical questions regarding the invoice billing process.
• Establish effective communication channels with various business functions and respond appropriately to technical concerns related to the invoice process.
• Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of experience, Master's Degree with 3 years of experience, or PhD with no experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Comprehensive working knowledge of modules within the core Oracle ERP (Project Billing) and reporting tools.
• Strong understanding of Oracle ERP Project Billing and financial system literacy, along with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis/visualization tools.
• Skilled in data manipulation and analytics.
• A strategic thinker capable of developing successful strategies and pathways.
• Independently adept at navigating business environments.
• Ability to confidently and professionally present financial concepts and results to business leaders.
• Capacity to translate complex data and ideas into insights at the RTI level.
• Competence in effectively prioritizing workload, self-managing, and completing tasks to meet stakeholder needs.
• Familiarity with US Government contractors and the Federal Acquisition Regulations is a plus.
