This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• The Upgrade Team consists of Project Management, System Engineering, and Field Engineering professionals collaborating within a high-performance environment, frequently facing tight deadlines and elevated customer expectations due to our work on mission-critical communication systems.
• Manage all technical aspects of the designated project.
• Upgrade the radio network, which includes servers, network infrastructure, RF devices, customer presentations, and comprehensive system documentation.
• Must be a Canadian citizen.
• Bachelor's Degree or a minimum of 3 years of networking experience.
• Familiarity with radio communication systems, radio propagation, RF, wireless, or broadband/LTE.
• Strong understanding and practical knowledge of IP networking, network design methodologies, and troubleshooting (Ethernet, TCP/IP, L2/L3, MPLS).
• Experience with servers and virtualization technologies such as ESXi, Linux-based Kernel-based Virtual Machine (KVM), Linux, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Windows Group Policy.
• Direct experience with customers is highly preferred.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to explain complex subjects to non-technical audiences.
• Willing and able to lead a project, act as a team player, follow instructions, and identify/manage project risks.
• Comfortable delegating responsibilities to project team members.
• Self-motivated, capable of collaborating with individuals from various organizations, proficient in providing feedback by writing improved procedures, and able to maintain focus in a high-pressure environment.
