• Set and uphold requirements quality standards, ensuring they are measurable, testable, traceable, and complete.

• Define and document interfaces between systems, ensuring both sides of each interface detail performance parameters (flow rates, pressures, temperatures, data protocols, etc.).

• Coordinate interface requirements across various facility systems (electrical, mechanical, controls, safety, etc.).

• Produce and critically assess technical documents (Design Interface Requirements, Engineering Design Specifications, Design Verification Records).

• Assist project leads in translating operational needs and safety requirements into equipment design specifications.

• Collaborate with quality assurance to guarantee traceability throughout design, fabrication, and testing phases.

• Support project leads in the identification, monitoring, and documentation of risks.

• Help develop cost models for proposed projects based on the scope of requirements.

• Establish and maintain systems engineering standards, templates, and best practices.

• Provide training to engineers on requirements quality principles and systems integration tools.

• Apply model-based systems engineering (MBSE) approaches in projects from concept through detailed design.
