This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Perform architecture trade-off analyses and provide recommendations based on business, interface, and performance criteria, including modifications to interactions and interfaces between systems.
• Coordinate, capture, baseline, analyze, and document system architectures that illustrate information flows and data repositories across integrated systems.
• Present architectural recommendations to stakeholders, gather feedback, and pinpoint necessary changes.
• Establish and maintain the concept of operations and the system architecture transition plan, while reviewing changes with stakeholders.
• Create, store, manage, and communicate business process models, diagrams, and visual representations that detail target-state processes.
• Evaluate potential impacts on infrastructure, core services, business operations, and maintenance, and suggest requirement or design modifications.
• Coordinate efforts to ensure adherence to information systems security requirements, security documentation, and controls.
• Propose strategies to address identified architecture gaps and advance technology to align with business needs.
• Review enterprise-wide changes and system migration plans to assess project impact, monitor risk, and develop mitigation strategies.
• Utilize agile methodologies to iteratively incorporate new technologies, delivering and validating the target-state architecture in increments through demonstrations and pilots.
• Act as the technical architecture liaison for client governance and development partners, supporting the implementation of new operational capabilities.
• Bachelor’s degree along with a minimum of seven (7) years of experience in architecture design that supports systems, program, or business requirements, as well as present and future cross-functional needs and interfaces, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proven experience leading collaborative assessments of workflows, business process models, organization, and planning to construct and design technical solutions, and to make recommendations or implement requirements.
• Familiarity with the principles of object-oriented application development, relational database architecture, system interfaces, and integration patterns.
• Experience in applying agile methodologies for the iterative integration of new technologies.
• Capability to comprehend complex technical concepts and communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with diverse technical and non-technical audiences.
• Exceptional organizational and planning abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills demonstrated through previous experiences.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools like JIRA, Confluence, and SharePoint.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Federal public trust suitability determination, along with U.S. work authorization adequate to fulfill E-Verify requirements.
