Systems Analyst

📋 Description

• System Administration: Set up and manage various fields and reports utilizing the systems’ user interfaces.

• Systems and Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with application vendors and internal teams to facilitate system modifications, integrations, and enhancements.

• Process Analysis: Collect, document, and clarify requirements from departments and teams.

• Map workflows and identify gaps or inefficiencies in existing processes.

• Convert operational needs into clear functional requirements.

• User Support and Training: Promote system adoption by creating documentation and delivering training sessions.

• Troubleshoot user issues with a comprehensive understanding of workflows and system behavior.

• Database Support: Assist in the compilation, processing, maintenance, and updating of membership records in the membership database.

• Performs related work as required: Address additional operational needs as directed by the Finance Director or their designee, including special projects and other duties necessary to ensure the efficiency of the Local.

• Strong technical and data literacy with an understanding of how applications integrate and exchange data.

• Ability to discern whether issues are process-related or system-related.

• Capability to define and implement API strategies, translating requirements into technical API specifications.

• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.

• Ability to cultivate strong cross-departmental relationships and facilitate collaboration across teams.

• Work efficiently under the pressure of deadlines.

• Interact tactfully and courteously with members, vendors, or others to exchange information.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Adaptability to shifting priorities and capability to implement process improvements as required.

• Understanding of union operations and policies, or a willingness to learn and apply them effectively.

• Basic knowledge of Python scripting for task automation and enhancing workflow efficiency.
