System Tester

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Accountable for testing and troubleshooting a government information system that facilitates human research protection oversight.

• Designs and implements test plans, while documenting and monitoring defects.

• Provides assistance to the user community through the help desk.

• Aids in developing technical solutions that align with customer regulatory requirements.

• Conducts quality assurance evaluations and supports the complete software development lifecycle of solutions created on the Microsoft Power Platform in a secure government Microsoft 365 cloud setting.

• Delivers daily help desk support for all system users, managing requests via a ticketing system and achieving established service level objectives.

• Assists with quality checks before and after deployment during the transition of solutions from development to production environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• No specific degree is mandatory for this role; however, a relevant degree is considered a highly desirable qualification.

• A minimum of four (4) years of experience in information technology systems is required.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), along with Project and Adobe Acrobat.

• Must comply with the criteria outlined in SECNAV M-5239.2, the “DON Information Assurance Workforce Management Manual” (generally, possessing a current CompTIA Security+ CE certification).

• Current and active certification in Microsoft Power Platform is preferred.

• Experience in testing and debugging information technology systems is essential.

• Familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint is required.

• Background in working with DoD or DON systems and management is preferred.

• Knowledge of Federal, DOD, and DON human research protection standards is necessary.
