This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 10–15 field service engineers and specialists.
• Cultivate a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing.
• Serve as the technical and operational authority for intricate MV drive and synchronous condenser projects.
• Take direct charge of critical site activities, encompassing commissioning, troubleshooting, and escalation management.
• Advocate for and uphold top-tier Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards.
• Drive strategic planning, resource allocation, and execution excellence across various projects while working collaboratively with field service management, project management, sales, and technical support teams.
• Supervise and ensure the accurate and timely completion of administrative tasks, including timekeeping, expense management, and project documentation.
• An Associate’s technical degree with 7 years of relevant experience, or a High School technical diploma with 9 years of relevant experience, or military education/experience is necessary.
• A Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a technical field with 5 years of relevant experience is highly preferred.
• Experience in field service or commissioning of Medium Voltage systems, drives, or rotating equipment is essential.
• Capability to interpret circuit diagrams, wiring diagrams, assembly drawings, technical manuals, and specifications.
• Experience with Synchronous Condensers or similar power systems is highly advantageous.
• Site management and team leadership experience are considered a plus.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Proven leadership experience in managing technical teams is essential.
• Comprehensive knowledge of electrical safety standards and HSE practices is required.
• Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50% of the time.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are necessary.
