This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design Ethernet, Fiber, transport, and Wi-Fi networks.
• Develop designs and standards for MDU network infrastructure.
• Conduct capacity planning, network upgrades, and scalability assessments.
• Generate bills of materials, scopes of work, technical documentation, and presentations.
• Engineer fiber distribution systems, splice plans, and transport architectures.
• Execute predictive Wi-Fi design and coverage assessments.
• Collaborate with teams from Operations, Construction, Engineering, and Business Development.
• Provide engineering assistance during deployment, commissioning, and network acceptance.
• Assess and research new technologies, vendors, and products.
• Review and update as-built documentation while ensuring adherence to design standards.
• A minimum of 3 years in network engineering or network design.
• Proficiency with Ethernet, GPON/XGS-PON, fiber optic, and Wi-Fi networks.
• Understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking concepts.
• Experience in creating construction drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field is preferred.
• Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CWNA, CWNP, BICSI, or equivalent are preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong follow-through abilities.
• Flexibility to work outside of standard business hours as needed.
