System Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Design and architect scalable, high-performance back-end software solutions that integrate multiple systems.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and transform them into technical specifications and architectural designs for intricate integrations.

• Assess and suggest tools, technologies, and processes to improve integration efficiency and software quality, with an emphasis on .NET technologies.

• Ensure that solutions are consistent with the overall enterprise architecture and adhere to best practices and standards for system reliability and security.

• Oversee the creation of architectural documentation, including system diagrams, integration strategies, and design patterns for service-oriented architecture (SOA).

• Collaborate closely with development teams to guarantee the successful execution of architectural designs, particularly for SOAP and RESTful APIs.

• Conduct architectural reviews and offer feedback to maintain quality and performance throughout the development lifecycle.

• Keep abreast of emerging technologies and trends in system integration, evaluating their potential impact on the organization and its projects.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Over 5 years of experience in software development and architecture, with a strong emphasis on designing scalable back-end systems.

• Proficient in .NET technologies (C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core) and experienced with SQL Server for database design.

• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure, for deploying and managing integrated solutions.

• Strong understanding of service-oriented architecture (SOA), software design patterns, and RESTful API design.

• Familiarity with strategies for database performance tuning and optimization.

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong communication skills with the capacity to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Advanced proficiency in English.
